Kagyu has favored the Burmese strain for its intricate terpene profile since he started working with it in 2011. This strain can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors, but it truly thrives outdoors where it reaches its full potential in terms of yield, height, and overall robustness. Although the plant's structural characteristics remain consistent in both environments, its size will vary based on the length of the vegetative stage. Kagyu advises careful monitoring of the plant's height during this phase to determine the optimal time for switching to the flowering stage.

Reflecting its Southeast Asian roots, the Burmese strain offers a unique flavor profile reminiscent of tamarind, blending sour-sweet nuances with hints of lemons, apricots, and dates. This combination delivers a complex taste that is both sweet and tart, with spicy and musky undertones.

Burmese is a pure landrace Sativa from Burma characterized by its traditional lime/light green coloration and abundant trichomes. The strain features slightly elongated, medium-density buds and offers a medium to high yield. Its distinct aroma is tropical with limey-sweet citrus notes and floral hints, complemented by an earthy and sweet scent. It is well-suited for outdoor and greenhouse settings, reaching medium to tall heights with a flowering time of 10-11 weeks, typically maturing by early October. Growth is primarily during the pre-flowering or vegetative stage.
